Dr. Joseph Fertig Named Professional of the Year in Dentistry
For more than 40 years, Dr. Fertig has provided excellent care to dental patients in North Brunswick, N.J.

NORTH BRUNSWICK, NJ, August 11, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Joseph Fertig, DDS, FAGD, Dentist and Partner at Exceldent, LLC, has been named a Cambridge Who's Who Professional of the Year in dentistry. While inclusion in the Cambridge Who's Who Registry is an honor, only a small selection of members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. These special honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, years of service, and the credentials they have provided in association with their Cambridge Who's Who membership.

For 42 years, Dr. Fertig has maintained an outstanding level of patient care that derives from both his caring nature and his expertise in cosmetic and restorative dentistry. His responsibilities as a dentist and partner at Exceldent are many and diverse. Among them are restoring implants, rendering root-canal therapy, placing veneers, performing cosmetic dentistry, and treating patients in need of reconstructive dental care.

Dr. Fertig earned a DDS from New York University. He is a fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry and holds memberships to the New Jersey Dental Association and American Dental Association. He is also affiliated with the Middlesex County Dental Society, an organization for which he held the office of president for a time, and the Department of Dentistry at St. Peter's University Hospital in New Brunswick, N.J., where he served as chairman.
